The Palette coding agent for the terminal. Korean in, Korean out, on the Palette API. One binary, no runtime to install.
The installer detects your platform, puts one binary in ~/.palette-code/bin and adds it to PATH. npm does the same through a package. Direct downloads are below.
One line in any shell. Re-run it to update.
curl -fsSL https://llm.pltt.dev/install | sh && exec $SHELL
PowerShell. Installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\palette-code and adds it to your PATH.
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command "irm https://llm.pltt.dev/install.ps1 | iex"
Node 18 or newer. The package picks the binary for your platform.
npm i -g palette-code
The installer asks for your API key and ends with DONE. Then type palette-code (with a hyphen). If it says “command not found”, open a new Terminal window and type it there.

After npm i -g, npm's global folder is not on your PATH yet. Add it once and open a new terminal. The one-line installer never needs this.
echo 'export PATH="$(npm config get prefix)/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc && exec zsh
palette-code --version
Install the desktop app below. From 0.1.15 the engine and the tools (documents, media, computer use, browser use) are inside the app. Open it, paste your key under Settings → Providers → Palette, and start. Nothing else to install.
Download the .dmg → drag to Applications → open → Settings → Providers → Palette → Add API key
The same agent in a window: sessions, diffs, terminal, the Palette theme. Each build bundles the matching CLI, so nothing else is needed.
macOS builds (0.1.21 and later) are signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so they open normally. Windows and Linux builds are not signed: on Windows choose "More info" then "Run anyway" on the SmartScreen prompt.
Or run palette-code auth login once and it is stored for you.
